Bequests

Bequests

Dave is a retired Navy veteran who married the love of his life, Patty. When Patty passed away suddenly, Dave knew he had to keep going. Part of what keeps him fulfilled is helping others in his wife's honor. Remembering Patty and the joy she was in his life helped him to realize that he wants to help people as much as he can. One way he plans to do this is through a bequest as a member of the Legacy of Life Society. As a Legacy of Life member, he has designated some of his resources to go to Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) upon his passing. You can do this through working with your attorney and including a bequest in your will, using simple language available from LSS-SW.

Dave believes in the mission of LSS-SW and appreciates that his gifts go directly to individuals in his community who are in need. He also believes that his wife Patty would support what he is doing with their finances. As a part of the Legacy of Life Society, you can trust that your gift will make a direct impact on the lives of individuals in the community who rely on the support from LSS-SW to help them stabilize and build a foundation from which they can thrive.
